Ocean Village
Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway on South Hutchinson Island, Ocean Village offers a private getaway experience filled with amenities and activities.
Safe, Secure, and Private
Ocean Village provides security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a fully-staffed guardhouse at the entrance to the complex.
Tennis and Golf
There's no need to leave Ocean Village to enjoy a challenging tennis match or round of golf. Both are available inside the resort. Tennis players can choose from 10 courts, with the main tennis club only a short walk from our apartment. The golf shack, also located conveniently near our apartment, is the starting point for an enjoyable game on the 9-hole, par-27 executive golf course (longest hole 175 yards, shortest hole 70 yards). Golf is free except during the season (December 20 - May 1), when the fee is under $10 per player.
Recreational Opportunities at Meadowood Golf and Tennis Club
Ocean Village now has a reciprocal agreement with Meadowood Golf and Tennis Club. Ocean Village residents, guests and tenants may play golf at the reduced Guest of Member rate; golf fees are from approximately $27 to $47, call the Meadowood Golf Club Pro Shop 464-4466. Tennis on Har tru courts available at Meadowood Golf and Tennis Club at the daily rate of approximately $10. Call the Meadowood Club Tennis Pro Shop at 466-4000, ext. 27. Oceanfront Restaurant Open
November - May
Enjoy seaside dining with an endless view at the Inn at Ocean Village, Ocean Village's 4-star restaurant. Sample one of the chef's daily specials from the second-story dining room, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The Bar is a great location for a refreshing cocktail or watching sports on the big screen television. Live musicians frequently perform on weekends, adding a musical treat to your evening. The Lounge offers comfortable sofas where you can enjoy drinks and catch up with friends while overlooking the swaying palms and main pool.

Poolside Tiki Bar and Café
Cool drinks and great grilled sandwiches are the specialties at the Tiki Bar Café, located poolside at the main pool. Spend time relaxing with friends or meet new ones in this comfortable outdoor Café.
Main Pool
Featuring a huge pool area with plenty of comfy lounging chairs, the main pool is headquarters for tons of fun. The adjacent clubhouse features a fitness center, sauna area for men and women, changing rooms, recreation office, library, and more. Outdoors, the pool area features a Jacuzzi and several round dining tables with shady umbrellas. Kids love having their own shaded pool, complete with floating toys.
Cayman Center Pool
Residents and guests of our Capstan complex are also invited to enjoy the Cayman Center Pool, which is located a short stroll from our apartment. It offers a quieter alternative to the main pool for those who enjoy a solitary swim. The Cayman Center clubhouse is used for many indoor activities and has tables and chairs available for use. Outdoors, there is a waterside grilling area with several tables for casual dining.
Shuffleboard, Paddleball, and Bocce Ball
Challenge your family and friends to a game of skill at shuffleboard, paddleball, or bocce ball. The courses are located near the main pool and equipment is available through the recreation office.
